Terms and Conditions

[Arrangement for season-ending products]

THE BAKERISM dedicate on providing premium products with the most quality seasonal ingredients that can fulfil particular quality standards. Our team would try to contact the order customer in 3-5 working days before the pickup/ delivery date for further updates if our team couldn’t provide customer’s orders due to any circumstances appear. Meanwhile, customers can request for;
1) Full Payment Refund, or
2) Changing to another products or flavours with making up the price difference.

 

[Order update arrangement]
1) For the updates regarding product flavour or size, please contact our team with phone calls (6284-5997) for confirmation in not less than 5 working days in advance before the date of pickup/ delivery. Price difference should be made up with no further extra handling fee charged.
Please be noted that all updates that are notified within 5 working days before the date of pickup/ delivery are considered as last-minute update, which may be charged for an extra handling fee of HKD150.

2) No order cancellation or pickup date & time-slot rearrangement request that is notified within 3 working days before the pickup/ delivery date would be accepted.
3) Please contact us (6284-5997) during business hour for any enquiry or updates.

 

[Order Cancellation Arrangement]

1) As production quota are limited daily, order cancellation could be either refunded fully by cash with a deduction of HKD 100 as handling charge, or refunded fully by credit points on our website with 180 days of expiration period.

2) All urgent cancellation within 5 working days before the date of order pickup/ delivery would not be acceptable. (Neither payment refund nor order rearrangement would be allowed)
3) Please contact us (6284-5997) during business hour for any enquiry or updates.

 

[Bad Weather Arrangement]

1) No pickup/ delivery service would be provided if either Black Rainstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 8 remains hoisted at 08:00 in the morning.
All cake orders will be cancelled and refunded fully by credit points with 180 days of expiration period.

2) If Black Rainstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 8 is hoisted after 10:00 in the morning, our studio will remain open for cake order collection, while all delivery arrangement for that day will be cancelled with delivery charges refunded fully. Customer can feel free to come over for cake collection, or arrange third-party delivery for collecting the cake order in our studio.
3) Cake orders for the day after bad weather might also be affected. If customer would like to rearrange your order with us in advance, please contact us by phone call during business hour. Or our team will handle all affected orders according to the company terms & guide lines.

[Self-Pickup Order Instruction]

1) Picking up the cake with a cooler bag is strongly recommended to help maintaining the premium texture and flavour of the cake. THE BAKERISM would not be responsible to any unexpected consequences if customer insist to pick up the cake with no cooler bag protection.
2) Cake items are suggested to be refrigerated within 30 - 45 mins in a 
4°C

 refrigerator for not less than 30 mins after being picked up.
3) Cake must be hold steadily and horizontally during the transportation.
4) Please contact us as soon as possible during business hour if any unfortunate situations happened on the cake during the transportation. Our team would try their best to help or provide the best solution for customer.
5) Customers have to visit our studio directly for cake collections. All staffs are not allowed to deliver cake to anywhere outside THE BAKERISM's studio area. 
6) Please be noted that our business hour ends at 19:00, no cake collections can be arranged outside business hour. 
7) Last but not least, please enjoy the cake provided by THE BAKERISM sincerely.

 

[Delivery Order Instruction]
1) 
In order to provide a better delivery service, we no longer provide Door-step delivery service. The cake orders can only be delivered outdoor. Customer have to collect the cake from our delivery team downstairs the buildings or apartments. 

2) Please make sure the recipient’s phone is active and reachable with dialling by our delivery team. Cakes would have to return to THE BAKERISM workshop for all unreachable delivery to ensure the cake’s quality. Customer may have to pick up the cake or rearrange the third-party delivery to come over THE BAKERISM workshop by themselves. Delivery fee would not be refunded for all unreachable orders.

3) Order should be delivered anytime within the delivery section. Please make sure the recipient's phone is reachable or otherwise the cake will be delivered back to our workshop to ensure the cake quality. 
4) 
In order to provide a better delivery service, we no longer provide Door-step delivery service. The cake orders can only be delivered outdoor. Customer have to collect the cake from our delivery team downstairs the buildings or apartments. 

5) We do not offer any delivery service to Island District, Park Island, Tung Chung or Discovery Bay.

6) The fixed delivery fee has covered a Cooler Bag & Ice Pack. It is not necessary to add into your cart for checkout. 

7) Some remote areas will be charged for an extra delivery fee ($10-$50)

8) If the location selected is a restaurant, please remark your booking number or all related information regarding the reservation during checking out your order on our website.

9) If there's any update regarding the delivery, please contact us via phone call during business hour at least 1 business day in advance. 


*For all update regarding the item size, flavour, pickup/ delivery date, delivery address and recipient’s information, please contact us with phone calls to ensure our team is notified and updated.


*THE BAKERISM reserves all rights to modify, suspend or terminate the above terms and conditions without prior notice. In the case of dispute, the decision of THE BAKERISM shall be final.
